Partners In Profit Program (P.I.P.)

The P.I.P. program is a discount program offered to the TAG dealers on orders placed at or to buying shows.

Started in 1997, this program continues to grow at each show.  Vendors who participate have been overwhelmed with the increase in orders written during our show.  We challenge our membership before each show to come prepared to write their orders.  They have accepted this challenge. The results are obvious with over $12M in purchase orders written at every show since the inception of P.I.P.

Recently, at the request of many vendors, we developed a 2% P.I.P. program to entice our dealers to write more orders at the shows.  This 2% program has had a phenomenal response.  With booking programs becoming tougher for vendors, this is a great way to reverse this industry trend.  For vendors offering 2% P.I.P., TAG will provide special signage on the exhibit floor and specific mention of the 2% P.I.P. programs during our buying meetings.  To participate in P.I.P., please fill out the P.I.P.  form each season, with your signature, and then fax or mail it to the TAG office.

Details of the Partners in Profit Program are as follows:

1. In order to participate in the 2%, or other rebate program, you must exhibit at the TAG Show.
2. Each TAG dealer and each vendor is issued a P.I.P. Tabulation Sheet before the opening of the exhibit.  When they hand in a purchase order to a vendor, the total amount is entered into both booklets.  Both the vendor and buyer sign beside the corresponding entry to verify the order has been placed.  These booklets will then be turned into the TAG staff at the end of the show.
3. Only orders placed during the show exhibit hours will be honored. No orders placed after the show will be eligible for P.I.P. show rebate.  We have informed our members that they must come to the show prepared to write orders, or have them already completed and ready to be turned in at the show.
4. The TAG office will invoice participating P.I.P. vendors the appropriate P.I.P. rebate.  This rebate is predicated on payment within terms. If a dealer pays you late or cancels an order, no rebate is due.
